Introducing an all-new product from Eversolo, the DMP-A8. Combining a Music Streamer, Digital Audio Player, DAC & Pre-Amplifier with analogue inputs, the DMP-A8 takes the concept that started with the DMP-A6 and expands on it in almost every way. The new DMP-A8 features a fully balanced analogue audio circuit with RCA and XLR analogue inputs and +10dB analogue gain helped by the R2R Advanced Analogue Volume Control Circuit composed of precision resistors and relays.
The DMP-A8 features the AKM AK4499EX and AK4191EQ Digital-Analog Separation DAC solution. A concept under the name Velvet Sound | Verita, rooted in the idea of "perfect re-creation of the original sound", it is dedicated to providing the most authentic sound and offering the listener an immersive acoustic experience. The DMP-A8 also features dual ACCUSILICON Femto clocks as found in the DMP-A6 Master Edition, and dual power supplies - a dedicated linear power supply for the analogue circuit and a high-performance low noise digital power supply for the digital board.
Elsewhere, the DMP-A8 gets additional digital inputs in the form of two Toslink optical ins, two coaxial RCA ins, and a dedicated HDMI ARC port. In addition to the digital outputs is a dedicated HDMI IIS port. The DMP-A8 also sports a 3rd generation XMOS 316 audio processor for faster and higher USB bandwidth ensuring lossless transmission of high-definition audio data.

"This do-it-all gizmo is incredibly versatile. I don’t believe there is a feature that DMP-A8 doesn’t already have or won’t have shortly, like the Roon Ready certification. It possesses the most complete set of skills and features I’ve seen in a long time, especially when considering the price point. This is a slam dunk from Eversolo and I’m very excited to see what is coming next. I’ll remind you that this is a very well-made wired & wireless streamer, DAC, dedicated preamp, music server, and Roon endpoint, all performing above my expectations . . . getting my stamp of approval and the highest honours."

Self-Developed EOS Audio Engine
EOS (Eversolo original sampling-rate) audio engine is developed by Eversolo engineers, with the support of outputting original sampling rate, that is, audio playback completely bypasses the Android SRC restriction, supporting the direct audio output of third-party apps (Apple Music hi-res Direct output).
Hi-Res Audio & Master Recording Decoding
The DMP-A8 is Hi-Res Audio certified by JAS, which equates to guaranteed superior sound quality. Almost all ultra-high sampling master recording formats are supported by DMP-A8, including CD-quality formats (FLAC, WAV, APE), DSD512 (.dsf/.dff/.iso/.dst) stereo/multichannel and MQA. MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording.
